Development Manager (Data Centre)

What you will do

• Lead site identification, due diligence, and acquisition for greenfield and brownfield data centre projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across legal, geotechnical, environmental, and utility workstreams.
• Manage permitting roadmaps, regulatory compliance, and engagement with local authorities and communities.
• Develop project execution plans, cost plans, and schedules to support business cases.
• Act as a central point of accountability for project progress and stakeholder communication.
• Contribute to the evolution of development standards and governance frameworks.

Requirements

• Must be based in Norway or willing to work from the Nordic region.
• 3+ years of experience in client-side, front-end development of data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, or complex real estate.
• Proven track record in site acquisition, due diligence, permitting, and pre-construction coordination.
• Strong understanding of utility infrastructure, planning systems, and large-scale development processes.
• Degree in Engineering, Planning, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
