Senior Accountant

TL;DR

Senior Accountant: Supporting the financial close and reporting cycle across hirify.global's KSA entities with an accent on accurate general ledger, IFRS/SOCPA-compliant reporting, and month-end/year-end reconciliation. Focus on journal entries, accruals and prepayments, preparing monthly financial statements and management reports, and improving accounting processes and internal controls.

What you will do

• Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for assigned properties or entities.
• Coordinate with AP and AR teams to ensure accurate recording of payables and receivables.
• Support the close by ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and financial records are complete.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workhirify.globals, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience; real estate or property management experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and SOCPA accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems (highly preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
