What you will do

• Act as the subject matter expert for Avaloq Accounting and the ePOCA sub-ledger.
• Manage end-to-end financial instrument accounting processes, including transaction imports and booking exports.
• Maintain and develop accounting setups to align with new business requirements and regulatory changes.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation projects.
• Ensure accurate booking, valuation, and reconciliation of financial instruments.
• Deliver accounting data for Group Finance, statutory reporting, and tax stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Zurich, Switzerland.
• Broad experience in banking accounting sub-ledger systems like SAP TRM, ePOCA, or Avaloq.
• Strong background in securities accounting, investment operations, and corporate actions.
• Proven project and transformation experience, ideally involving sub-ledger implementations.
• Knowledge of IFRS and FINMA regulatory standards.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and data warehouse reporting.
• Knowledge of tax accounting for financial instruments (e.g., withholding tax, Section 871(m)).
• Affinity for AI-enabled tools and modern ways of working.
