AI Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the design and deployment of AI solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI systems.
• Architect scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, or Tencent Cloud.
• Establish and drive MLOps and GenAIOps best practices, including CI/CD and comprehensive LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Collaborate with clients to identify AI opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
• Lead and mentor small to medium-sized engineering teams through technical guidance and code reviews.
• Support pre-sales and proposal development by shaping technical narratives, delivery plans, and estimates.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in AI engineering, MLOps, DevOps, or applied AI delivery.
• Must be based in Hong Kong.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native architecture.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Cantonese (highly preferred) or Mandarin.
• Experience delivering enterprise AI solutions in banking, insurance, energy, or retail sectors.
• Knowledge of multi-agent orchestration, on-prem LLM deployments, and AI governance frameworks (GDPR, SOC2).
• Experience using AI-native engineering tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
