What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable compliance infrastructure across the app ecosystem using SRE principles.
• Ensure legacy Unity applications remain compliant with consumer laws and digital child safety regulations.
• Translate new regulatory requirements into technical specifications and automated enforcement mechanisms.
• Mentor engineering team members on compliance patterns, defensive engineering, and SRE principles.
• Collaborate with QA and Consumer Service departments to ensure alignment with quality standards and policies.
• Take full responsibility for the design, implementation, and roll-out of compliance-focused infrastructure for user-facing apps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically focused on compliance, safety, or platform reliability.
• Hands-on production experience with Flutter.
• Demonstrated application of SRE principles, including automation, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Ability to interpret complex legal/regulatory frameworks and turn them into actionable engineering work.
• Proven ability to refactor legacy systems while maintaining backward compatibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with highly regulated consumer platforms or children's digital products.
• Knowledge of digital child safety regulations such as COPPA or GDPR-K.
• Hands-on experience with IoT devices or Bluetooth peripherals.
• Native iOS and/or Android development experience.
• Comfort presenting technical topics to legal and policy stakeholders.
