TL;DR
Automation Quality Assurance Engineer (Mobile/API): Building and scaling an automation testing framework from scratch for Android and iOS platforms with an accent on E2E, backend, and API testing. Focus on migrating legacy test cases, optimizing the CI/CD pipeline, and mentoring the QA team to ensure product stability.
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Kyiv, Ukraine)
What you will do
- Create and maintain an automation testing framework from scratch for mobile (Android/iOS), APIs, and web interfaces.
- Migrate and integrate over 4000 existing test cases into the automation system.
- Implement automated testing into the development process and prioritize critical test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve code testability and address defects.
- Mentor the team on automated testing best practices and conduct code reviews.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to align testing activities with project goals.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Commercial experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Appium, and WebDriverIO.
- High-level expertise in automating Android/iOS mobile applications and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Android Studio, Xcode, and the mobile app development lifecycle.
- Practical experience with CI/CD practices using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture and Agile methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
- Knowledge of Allure Reporting and GitLab Pages.
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter or Curl.
