TL;DR

Product Owner (Fintech): Driving the delivery of features for a finance super app with an accent on turning business goals into clear requirements and user flows. Focus on backlog management, sprint readiness, and ensuring high product quality through rigorous testing.

Location: Hybrid (Malaysia). Must be based in Malaysia and work from the office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

  • Own product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the finance super app.
  • Manage the backlog, priorities, sprint readiness, and feature execution.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA, operations, and business teams.
  • Translate complex financial journeys into clear and executable product flows.
  • Conduct feature testing before launch to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Track bugs, handle edge cases, and coordinate post-launch fixes.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery-focused role.
  • Strong ability to write clear requirements and break down technical work for engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in mapping user flows, identifying edge cases, and defining operational processes.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and convert complex inputs into execution plans.
  • Strong English communication skills are required as it is the main working language.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, insurance, payments, consumer apps, or other digital products.
