Senior Creative Engineer (Motion & Design Systems)

Location: Must be based in Heredia, Costa Rica (On-site, 5 days per week at Barreal office)

What you will do

• Collaborate with creative teams to adapt key art into pixel-perfect digital assets across multiple formats.
• Produce high-quality motion graphics and animated assets for digital campaigns.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and templates to support high-volume production.
• Mentor junior and mid-level creative engineers to foster team growth and technical development.
• Improve production workflows, automation, and documentation to ensure delivery standards.
• Act as a brand gatekeeper, ensuring all assets adhere to client guidelines and technical limitations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an advertising agency or production studio environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects for motion design.
• Strong experience with Figma and building scalable design systems.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Heredia, Costa Rica.
• Experience with or willingness to learn creative automation platforms like Celtra or Orca Plus.
• General understanding of HTML5 and pixel-perfect attention to detail.
