What you will do

• Build CI/CD quality gates for backend and AI workflows to provide faster, more trustworthy signals before production.
• Develop reusable validation infrastructure for AI features, including scenario-based evals, staging flows, and E2E checks.
• Bridge the gap between development and production by integrating eval results, telemetry, and member-facing signals into one operational picture.
• Standardize the LLM delivery surface, including unified client patterns, trace capture, and operational guardrails.
• Collaborate with backend/AI engineers and PMs to scale release-confidence workflows across the platform.

Requirements

• Strong experience building production backend platforms, developer infrastructure, or CI/CD systems.
• Deep software engineering skills in Python and practical cloud infrastructure experience.
• Proven track record of designing trusted validation or quality systems (CI gates, telemetry pipelines, or release automation).
• Experience supporting modern AI/LLM systems in production via evals, tracing, or rollout safety.
• Excellent communication skills to translate platform pain points into practical systems used by multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with offline/online eval systems, LLM tracing, or scenario-driven testing.
• Proficiency with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or similar ecosystems.
• Background in health-tech, wearables, or other quality-sensitive domains.
