Information Security Analyst (Operations) (Fintech)

Salary: PLN 16,200 - 19,100 gross monthly (Poland)

What you will do

• Investigate and analyze security alerts to determine the nature and severity of potential threats.
• Develop detection and response procedures based on established security frameworks.
• Design and deploy security controls specifically for cloud-native environments.
• Create and report actionable metrics regarding detection and response performance.
• Assess logging and monitoring infrastructure to identify and remediate capability gaps.
• Develop forward-thinking security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role.
• Fundamental knowledge of information, cloud, and network security.
• Proficiency with Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems, including basic forensics.
• Engineering experience in Python or another general-purpose language.
• Proficiency with SIEM (ElasticSearch, Kibana), EDR, WAF, and IDP.
• Must be based in Poland or Spain.
• Fundamental knowledge of AI and LLM concepts (prompt engineering, agents) for security automation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with version control, security CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
