What you will do
- Provide direct technical support and advice to artists on production shows.
- Monitor render farm performance, disk usage, and file transfers across sites.
- Design and develop Python tools and scripts to optimize show-specific workflows.
- Contribute to testing and providing feedback for new software releases from the R&D team.
- Communicate technical issues effectively between developers and artists.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United Kingdom
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems.
- Good knowledge of Maya.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in VFX, Games, or related industries.
- Experience with DCC packages such as Houdini, Katana, Nuke, or Clarisse.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
