Freelance Digital Production Assistant (Sports)

Location: Hybrid in Stamford, CT (Minimum 3 days/week in office). Must have US work authorization.

What you will do

• Produce digital-first sports content for YouTube, social media, and mobile-optimized platforms.
• Clip segments from live sporting events and studio shows in real time.
• Create 3+ digital video stories per day under tight sports-driven deadlines.
• Write SEO-optimized headlines, captions, and metadata to drive video views.
• Optimize sound and lighting quality and create simple graphic transitions and on-screen text.
• Contribute to team brainstorms by pitching innovative content ideas to grow audience traffic.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience producing short-form digital video content end-to-end.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop).
• Demonstrated knowledge of sports, particularly Golf, NASCAR, WNBA, College Football, or Premier League.
• Must be based in or willing to work in Stamford, CT.
• Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with live-video clipping platforms such as Wildmoka, WSC, or Grabyo.
• Experience with YouTube publishing and platform strategy.
• Background working for a sports league, team, or associated industry.
• Deep understanding of internet culture and latest digital trends.
