What you will do
- Direct concurrent G2G Ministry-level risk assessments within the assigned country.
- Provide guidance to contractor assessment teams to finalize scope, draft risk reports, and prepare mitigation plans.
- Ensure the application of standardized G2G tools and templates for planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Collaborate with State Department stakeholders to establish SOPs and payment process workflows for G2G disbursements.
- Provide technical assistance and training to partner government staff on financial controls and audit readiness.
- Manage stakeholders and coordinate between USG agencies, audit firms, and host government counterparts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, auditing, or economics.
- CPA, ACA, or ACCA certification is required.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fiduciary risk/internal control assessments or internal audits.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in international development projects.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAGAS/Yellow Book, OMB Circular A-123, and COSO Internal Control Framework.
Nice to have
- Direct work experience in Africa.
- Language proficiency in local languages of Liberia.
