What you will do

• Detect and report suspicious activity, including money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Analyze alerts from monitoring systems to identify potential fraud.
• Assess cases of account takeover, authorized push payment, and first-party fraud.
• Decide on refund eligibility for confirmed fraud victims and contact partners to recover funds.
• Escalate red flags and risks to the appropriate teams.
• Drive projects to improve internal processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (certificate must be provided).
• 2+ years of FinCrime experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (C1+ level).
• Familiarity with investigative methodologies and analytical tools like spreadsheets and pivots.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work from the Bogota office.

Nice to have

• Degree in law or STEM subject.
• Professional certification such as ICA or ACAMS.
• Experience with authorized push payments or account takeover investigations.
• Fluency in additional languages.
