What you will do

• Define and drive the technical direction and architecture of Box's React Native migration
• Coach and upskill mobile engineers, embedding React Native best practices across the team
• Collaborate and align with mobile, web, product, and platform teams
• Contribute hands-on code on architecturally critical areas (~50% of time)
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to issues
• Model solid engineering practices around design, testability, scalability, and maintainability

Requirements

• Must be located in or near Warsaw, Poland with hybrid work (3 days onsite per week)
• 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep hands-on expertise in React Native and cross-platform mobile development (iOS, Android, web)
• Experience leading or contributing to migration from native iOS/Android to React Native
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android platform fundamentals
• English proficiency required

• Experience driving platform or architectural transformations in a product company
• Familiarity with React and web technologies intersecting with React Native
• Experience working on mobile products at scale with large cross-functional teams
