Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Build and evolve the internal developer platform to streamline application development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop deployment tooling and automation using modern software engineering practices for Azure and AWS.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using containers, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and remove friction in developer workflows to improve self-service capabilities.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, SRE, and development teams to establish engineering standards and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS core cloud services.
• Software engineering background with TypeScript/Node.js or .NET/C#.
• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, networking, authentication, and cloud security.

Nice to have

• Experience operating Kubernetes platforms in production.
• Knowledge of Terraform, ARM, or Bicep for infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Application Insights or Grafana.
• Experience contributing to open-source tooling or promoting DevOps best practices.
