What you will do

• Assemble optical, mechanical, and electronic components, subassemblies, and systems.
• Perform intermediate tasks such as soldering, encapsulating, die bonding, wire bonding, and epoxy curing.
• Operate pneumatic machinery and perform assembly operations under a microscope or magnifying device.
• Conduct inline testing and inspection using measuring instruments, software, and electrical test equipment.
• Execute various repair and rework operations based on approved written procedures.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies into cases or appropriate packing materials.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of electronics assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions.
• Good English verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work the afternoon shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), Monday through Friday.

• Experience working in an ISO9001, 14001, 13485 certified, and/or FDA QSR compliant environment.
