What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Architect cloud solutions for new and existing workloads, making technical decisions on services and patterns.
- Implement cloud security measures including network configurations, firewalls, and access control.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to proactively resolve issues and optimize spending.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to cloud and DevOps engineers.
- Accelerate development workflows using AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Amazon CodeWhisperer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of DevOps automation tools and CI/CD practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform).
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity and code quality.
- Location: Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal
Nice to have
- Experience within the Finance or Insurance industry.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect.
