Technical Project Manager (Security)

Location: NXP sites in Glasgow, United Kingdom, or Gratkorn, Austria

What you will do

• Represent the Crypto and Security Group on product development projects from concept through security certification.
• Track security-related activities, goals, risks, mitigation steps, milestones, timelines, and ownership.
• Support product development teams in applying the Crypto and Security project methodology.
• Facilitate project calls with global cross-functional teams and drive resolution of security issues.
• Act as the first point of escalation for security issues and prepare Security Group reports for milestone reviews.
• Collaborate with security stakeholders, product development engineers, and managers to achieve security objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in electrical engineering, security engineering, or computer engineering.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Product Owner with project management experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Management experience with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and strong ownership.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or similar.
• General understanding of embedded-system design and architectural definition.
• Strong systematic skills and the ability to manage complex environments under pressure.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of security concepts and standards ISO 21434 and IEC 62443, including cryptography.
• Willingness to travel when necessary, typically one to two times per year.
