Communications Intern (PR)

TL;DR

Communications Intern (PR): Supporting the press office and Communications team in managing media outreach, drafting press materials, and overseeing corporate social channels with an accent on data-driven storytelling and press monitoring. Focus on crafting narratives for diverse audiences, coordinating with PR agencies across Europe, and securing top-tier media coverage.

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Must be registered as a student in a Dutch university for the entire internship period (tri-party agreement required)

What you will do

• Manage daily, monthly, and project-based press monitoring and reporting.
• Oversee the press newsroom and corporate LinkedIn channel.
• Draft and distribute news releases, media pitches, interview briefings, and FAQs.
• Handle media enquiries and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct research and brainstorm for proactive communications campaigns.
• Support daily operations and manage PR agencies across 8 European markets.

Requirements

• Currently registered as a student in a Dutch university (tri-party agreement required)
• Studying communications, journalism, or PR.
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of traditional, new, and social media outlets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a media outlet, PR agency, or brand.
• Bilingual proficiency in French, Italian, German, Dutch, or Spanish.
