Senior Flutter Developer – Installer App

Location: Stockholm, Sweden — hybrid work model

What you will do

• Own and ship features for iOS and Android from a shared Flutter codebase.
• Build commissioning and servicing tools for field technicians working with heat pumps, solar panels, batteries, and inverters.
• Partner with UX design and in-field teams to create interfaces suited to real installation conditions and time-sensitive work.
• Integrate the app with installed hardware through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Thread.
• Support software updates and troubleshooting for technicians in the field.
• Contribute to architectural decisions balancing delivery speed, scalability, and international growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile development experience.
• Professional experience with Flutter; React Native experience may also be relevant.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party SDKs.
• Familiarity with state management patterns such as Bloc or Riverpod and testable code practices.
• Experience working with structured data contracts and binary protocols, including Protobuf.
• Experience with product-driven software development and agile environments.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, or Thread communication protocols.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux or edge computing; the connected devices run Rust applications on Linux hardware.
• Experience with event-driven architectures or message brokers such as Kafka.
• Experience in start-ups, scale-ups, or other rapid-growth environments.
