Information Security Engineer (Appsec)

TL;DR

Information Security Engineer (Appsec): Supporting the security team in designing and testing applications with an accent on vulnerability identification and risk mitigation. Focus on running SAST/DAST scans, documenting security findings, and collaborating with developers to enhance software safety.

Location: Hybrid role, must be based in or able to relocate to Poland, Portugal, the UAE, or the UK. Expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week.

Salary: PLN 9,100 gross monthly (Krakow/Poland)

What you will do

• Run SAST and DAST security scans to identify vulnerabilities and OWASP issues.
• Review system configurations using established security checklists.
• Document and report findings from security tests to senior engineers.
• Research emerging security threats and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
• Support developers by flagging security issues and suggesting remediation improvements.
• Participate in security training sessions and team discussions.

Requirements

• Must be in the penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree (graduating in 2028).
• Must be on track for a 2:1 or higher degree classification.
• Must be available for full-time work during Summer 2027.
• Must be able to travel to a Revolut office in the country of employment.
• Must be willing to work in a hybrid model (at least 3 days per week in the office).
• Fluency in English is required.
