TL;DR

Research Engineer (AI): Contributing to an ambitious research agenda spanning multimodal foundational models, interactive world modeling, and real-time generation with an accent on full-stack research execution. Focus on pretraining, SFT/RL post-training techniques, evaluation, and bringing models to production.

Location: Remote (US-based). The salary range provided is for candidates in the U.S.; ranges for other regions may differ.

Compensation: $270,000 – $370,000

What you will do

• Run experiments to teach world models new behaviors like action following, scene manipulation, and camera control.
• Develop and test new data strategies, architectural variants, and training techniques.
• Design evaluations to measure model capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product and creative teams to take research prototypes into production.
• Contribute across the entire stack, including data pipelines, modeling, and production inference.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning research or engineering.
• Familiarity with architecture, training, and inference of large-scale multimodal generative models.
• Experience building robust data pipelines for pretraining and post-training.
• Proficiency with at least one ML framework such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience with distributed training at scale.
• Ability to context-switch quickly in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
