What you will do
- Define and maintain the enterprise data strategy, including architecture, governance, and business enablement objectives.
- Establish robust data governance disciplines covering quality, lineage, controls, and lifecycle management.
- Drive data democratization by developing trusted data products, reporting, and self-service analytics.
- Partner with product, risk, engineering, and compliance teams to embed data into underwriting and operational processes.
- Enable the application of advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation across business workflows.
- Identify and integrate new data sources to improve credit decisioning and fraud controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a data role within fintech, banking, or data-intensive environments.
- Deep expertise in data governance, modeling, and architecture.
- Hands-on capability in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python).
- Strong understanding of credit risk, lending products, or financial services data ecosystems.
- Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives with strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Athens, Greece.
