What you will do

• Process academic papers from submission to publication through a structured editorial workflow.
• Organize and oversee the peer-review process for scientific manuscripts.
• Handle professional communication between authors, reviewers, and other parties involved in publication.
• Make and oversee editorial decisions for journals within your domain of expertise.
• Collaborate with Managing Editors during an initial traineeship period to learn internal processing standards.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Neurology Science, Biology Science, Human Medicine, or Public Health.
• Excellent English and Spanish proficiency in both written and spoken forms.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong ability to multi-task and high attention to detail.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the Barcelona office.
