What you will do

• Lead firmware architecture and design for embedded devices from initial concept through to production.
• Drive end-to-end firmware execution, including development, integration, validation, and release.
• Design and scale low-latency RF/wireless communication protocols for embedded systems.
• Mentor internal and external firmware engineers while remaining hands-on with implementation.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and UX teams to define and deliver product requirements.
• Develop and manage hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and automated test systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Deep expertise in RF/wireless systems, such as Bluetooth or low-latency audio.
• Experience with ARM microcontrollers and low-power system design.
• Proven track record of leading firmware development for shipped consumer electronics.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA (implied by US benefits package).

Nice to have

• Experience with wireless audio or ultra-low latency systems.
• Experience collaborating with external development partners or ODMs.
• Knowledge of kernel or driver development for Linux or Windows.
