What you will do
- Contribute to analytical work on income support, redistribution, and work incentives.
- Monitor and assess changes in national tax-benefit systems and support member countries in designing reforms.
- Update and validate the Tax-Benefit model, ensuring accuracy through collaboration with national experts.
- Use the Tax-Benefit model to assess proposed or recommended national reforms.
- Draft reports and policy briefs and maintain the TaxBEN data warehouse and project webpages.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in economics, social science, statistics, or law and economics.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in analysing tax-benefit systems and redistributive policies.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in tax-benefit modelling.
- Proficiency in STATA, R, or Python for data management and econometric analysis.
- Fluency in English or French and knowledge of the other official language.
Nice to have
- PhD degree.
- Experience simulating tax-benefit reforms using the EUROMOD microsimulation model.
- Experience with the use of AI tools.
