IT Officer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee the delivery of all IT services to the regulated entities in Luxembourg.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Applications services to ensure consistent delivery and project prioritization.
• Work closely with Risk and Internal Audit functions to identify risks, develop remediation plans, and report findings.
• Represent the IT department within risk and executive-level meetings.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, specifically CSSF circular 20/750 and DORA.
• Contribute to IT audits and oversee the definition and execution of remediation actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in technology leadership roles within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Deep understanding of CSSF regulations and their application to technology standards and controls.
• Experience managing third-party/vendor risk and supporting formal audits.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an IT Manager.
• 5+ years of experience in similar governance or leadership roles.
• Project management experience.
• Deep understanding of financial service products.
