What you will do
- Provide 2nd level support for core banking applications and the ServiceNow platform, handling incidents and requests.
- Process incident tickets generated by monitoring systems and the local service desk within SLAs.
- Coordinate communication between incident managers, application service owners, 3rd-level support, and business stakeholders.
- Perform 24/7 on-call duties (weekly rotation) and participate in periodic weekend releases.
- Optimize processes and automate repetitive tasks for handover to L1 (Control Center).
- Maintain application operation documentation and the internal knowledge database.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or other IT-related certification.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in application support.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow administration and support.
- Good Unix know-how (shell scripting is an advantage) and Windows Server OS knowledge.
- Knowledge of databases, AWA, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
Nice to have
- Experience in the banking industry with knowledge of financial products.
- Proficiency in German.
