TL;DR
AI Artist (Generative AI/Gamedev): Creating in-game and marketing assets for the Empire series using AI-assisted workflows with an accent on ComfyUI pipelines and artistic judgment. Focus on building image and video generation pipelines, ensuring visual consistency, and integrating new AI models into production.
Location: Fully remote for candidates based in Germany, Sweden, Bulgaria, or Malta (valid visa required). Freelancers must be within the German time zone.

What you will do
- Produce end-to-end in-game and marketing assets using AI-assisted workflows.
- Build and maintain image and video generation pipelines in ComfyUI.
- Refine AI outputs using Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects to meet production quality.
- Create and animate assets based on animation and cinematography principles.
- Ensure visual consistency with the established Empire art style across all asset types.
- Test and integrate emerging AI tools and models into the production pipeline.
Requirements
- Professional game development experience with a portfolio of shipped in-game assets.
- Advanced ComfyUI skills, including complex workflow optimization and custom node setup.
- Proficiency with Midjourney, LoRA training, and ControlNet.
- Expert-level skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects (including animation).
- Ability to run AI workloads on cloud GPUs (e.g., RunPod).
- Must be based in Germany, Sweden, Bulgaria, or Malta, or operate within the German time zone for freelancers.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI audio/voice tools like ElevenLabs.
- Familiarity with 3D pipelines (e.g., Blender, Maya).
- Experience producing social media or performance marketing content.
