What you will do

• Develop software end to end, from gathering requirements with stakeholders to ongoing operations.
• Design and implement scalable software solutions for global customers.
• Solve challenging engineering problems involving distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Apply linear and nonlinear optimization techniques to software and operational problems.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders in a global team.

Requirements

• Be in the final semester or trimester of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have completed university studies within the past 24 months.
• Be able to start between January and June 2027.
• Hold or be completing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong object-oriented design and coding skills in C, C++, and/or Java, preferably on Unix or Linux.
• Have experience with distributed systems, algorithms, relational databases, and optimization mathematics.

Nice to have

• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Experience developing software on AWS platforms.
• Knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages.
