What you will do

• Build scalable, high-performance distributed backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS best practices and IaC.
• Lead technical architecture reviews and code reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
• Mentor engineers on system design, testing strategies, and cloud-native development.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues to ensure high system reliability and performance.
• Promote cross-team collaboration to align on architectural decisions and dependencies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend services, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, architecture patterns, and cloud-native design.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS/ECS) and serverless patterns.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
