Backend & Services Engineer (Golang/C#)

What you will do

• Build and optimize microservices connecting the customer portal to downstream translator services.
• Design and implement robust, low-latency API layers using REST and gRPC.
• Administer specialized data layers, including time-series logs, high-performance caches, and vector databases.
• Own the deployment lifecycle using Docker, Caddy reverse proxies, AWS infrastructure, and automation scripts.
• Integrate Metabase instances to provide system health, performance, and usage visibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer designing scalable systems and APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang and C#.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and Python for backend services and automation.
• Expertise in relational databases, advanced SQL, TimescaleDB, and Redis.
• Experience with vector databases, such as Milvus DB.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust for developing performance-critical components and low-level functionality.
