TL;DR
Business System Analyst (Fintech): Specifying system needs to meet end-user requirements and designing IT solutions to improve business efficiency with an accent on functional specifications and integration schemas. Focus on analyzing business processes, drafting interface contracts, and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure traceability and clarity of requirements.
Location: Must be based in Cyprus (Limassol office)

What you will do
- Gather and document business and system requirements using standard methods and templates.
- Produce functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria with review support.
- Analyze existing business processes at a task level to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Draft and align interface contracts and specific feature flows independently.
- Work with structured data sources, reports, and dashboards to validate inputs and support analysis.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience as a System or Technical Business Analyst in software development.
- Proficiency in requirements management (Use Cases, User Stories) and process notations (BPMN, UML).
- Strong understanding of Web Services, REST API, HTTP, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of SQL for basic queries and database theory.
- Must currently reside in Cyprus.
Nice to have
- Understanding of basic UI/UX concepts.
- Knowledge of algorithm theory, systems theory, and information security.
