What you will do

• Lead the VCP Formosa team and drive end-to-end delivery of engineering outputs for the submodule.
• Manage people and performance for up to 10 direct reports, focusing on talent development, succession, and stability.
• Oversee technical "how" decisions, manage capacity, and align sequencing of deliverables across teams.
• Ensure the virtual compute platform can host analytics applications with 99.99% uptime in customer factories.
• Collaborate with MDU Leaders and stakeholders worldwide to strengthen execution and advance objectives.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, including a technical or team lead role (e.g., Group Lead, Project Lead, or Product Owner).
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Experience in leadership, project management, and people management.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Must be based in or able to work from Linkou, Taiwan.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spark for data processing, Kafka for high-volume ingestion, and Hadoop/HBASE for storage.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, and Java.
• Knowledge of Linux networking, TCP/IP, and CI/CD pipelines.
