What you will do

• Build, ship, and support scalable enterprise-class web applications.
• Develop frontend interfaces specifically using React.
• Implement backend logic using Java 8+ and MVC frameworks like Spring.
• Manage relational databases using Hibernate or QueryDsl.
• Build and test webservices using REST or SOAP.
• Collaborate using Git and apply clean code and software design principles.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal.
• Expertise in Spring MVC, React, and Java 8+.
• Proficiency in Maven, Gradle, and application servers like WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript/TypeScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, or DB2).

Nice to have

• Experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and asynchronous message-driven designs.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Jenkins, and Selenium.
• Experience working within an Agile (Scrum) environment.
