What you will do

• Own Data Science for specific markets/industries and act as a business partner for country, commercial, product, and technology leaders.
• Collaborate directly with clients to translate strategic business needs into innovative analytical solutions.
• Design and conduct studies and tests to build proof-of-concept and prototypes for various use cases.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of junior data scientists, setting clear performance objectives.
• Leverage large, diverse datasets and state-of-the-art technologies to create innovative, out-of-the-box solutions.
• Identify and evaluate third-party capabilities and datasets to develop new product offerings.

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field involving statistical analysis of large data sets.
• 5+ years of experience in market research or a relevant field.
• Solid understanding of the CPG/FMCG industry and retail market impact on client business.
• Strong proficiency in Statistics and critical/logical thinking for data analysis.
• Great command of written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with eCommerce, webscraping solutions, or consumer-sourced data solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Spotfire or Tableau.
