We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team on a full-time remote basis.
The specialist will build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments, ensuring high availability and supporting the transition to microservices architecture.
Key responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Manage containerized environments (Docker, containerd) and Kubernetes clusters (AWS, GCP, bare-metal).
• Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and configuration management (Ansible).
• Administer Linux systems (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL): kernel tuning, eBPF, SELinux/AppArmor, LVM/RAID, network namespaces, iptables/nftables, traffic shaping.
• Configure web servers, reverse proxies (Nginx, HAProxy), and load balancing.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, ELK).
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra): replication, backups, recovery.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of production environments.
• Configure network infrastructure: TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, firewall rules.
• Automate tasks with Bash, Python, or Go scripts.
• Support microservices, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Maintain disaster recovery, backup strategies, and operational documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer or Systems Administrator.
• Strong Linux administration: kernel tuning, eBPF, SELinux/AppArmor, LVM/RAID, systemd, network namespaces, iptables/nftables, traffic shaping.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of Terraform, Ansible, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewall configuration.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
• Basic database administration and familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis).
• Experience with Git, GitOps, service mesh, and virtualization (KVM, OpenStack, VMware).
• Understanding of security best practices and high-load architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• English: B2 or higher (written and spoken).
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of MLOps tools (Airflow, Spark, NiFi), PKI, secrets management (Vault).
• Understanding of compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Cloud or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).
