What you will do

• Architect next-generation slider-attach machines and nano-liter adhesive dispense processes.
• Lead early-stage process invention and machine design through rapid prototyping and experimentation.
• Analyze adhesive behavior, bondline control, and thermo-mechanical interactions using FEA.
• Quantify critical KPIVs and build transfer functions to guide downstream optimization.
• Define novel dispense, placement, and curing tool concepts including vision alignment.
• Collaborate with global teams, including US-based partners, to influence product architecture.

Requirements

• 12+ years of expertise in designing micro-precision assembly equipment.
• Experience with multi-axis motion systems and integrated sensor technologies.
• Background in Hard Disk Drive (HDD) manufacturing or precision assembly processes.
• Understanding of data analysis, statistics, and structured problem-solving (DOE, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with global teams.
