Senior Program Officer (Education)

Location: Remote (USA). Preference for candidates in the Greater Seattle area. Excluded locations: California and Hawaii. Requires monthly travel to the home office in Seattle.

Salary: $150,000-180,000 annual

What you will do

• Co-develop and execute the National Education Strategy to transform public education systems across the P-20 continuum.
• Source, structure, and manage a strategic portfolio of grants, investments, and partnerships.
• Conduct diligence on prospective investments and develop clear recommendations for internal decision-making.
• Convene and align cross-sector leaders from policy, philanthropy, and innovation to advance a shared vision.
• Collaborate with communications teams to translate field learnings into compelling narratives and advocacy strategies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading systems transformation in education, public policy, or social innovation.
• Proven experience operating at the state, district, postsecondary, or national systems level.
• Demonstrated ability to turn ambitious ideas into executable plans with measurable change in policy or practice.
• Deep professional network spanning policy, philanthropy, advocacy, and research communities.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding California and Hawaii).
