What you will do
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable Java/Kotlin microservices for high-traffic, high-availability systems.
- Design data pipelines, analytics platforms, and event-driven architectures with data scientists and product managers.
- Build backend services supporting A/B testing, feature toggles, real-time monitoring, and growth experimentation.
- Collaborate with Frontend, Product, Design, and Marketing to deliver scalable backend solutions.
- Participate in architecture and code reviews while improving service quality, performance, and reliability.
- Implement secure coding, authentication, authorization, and compliance controls to protect user data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with modern engineering practices, continuous integration, and quality engineering.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, object-oriented programming, domain-driven design, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency, highly available distributed systems.
- Cloud experience with GCP or AWS, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
Nice to have
- Java or Kotlin experience with Spring or Spring Boot.
- Experience with end-to-end go-to-market operations.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, customer segmentation, and analytics tools.
- Experience building products with AI and LLMs.
