What you will do
- Coordinate the close-out and dispatch of all shipments while managing carrier equipment needs.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping documentation, including EEI filing and Hazmat labeling.
- Oversee outbound cold chain orders, ensuring correct temperature set points and manifest accuracy.
- Reconcile open orders and validate trailer loading, including pallet counts and chain-of-custody.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and carriers to resolve shipping issues.
- Provide leadership and supervisory backup, including training staff and driving process improvements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Background in operations and knowledge of the transportation industry.
- Experience with TMS (Mercury Gate) or similar transportation management systems.
- HAZMAT certification or ability to manage hazardous materials documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to develop reporting/analytics.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA as this role is based in Memphis, TN.
