Associate Principal Threat Intelligence Analyst (Gamedev)

Location: Onsite in Oakville, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $122,000 — $140,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Identify and prevent fraudulent or malicious behavior using OSINT and internal investigative methods.
• Lead complex investigations involving data collection and synthesis from multiple systems.
• Maintain current intelligence on emerging threats and the evolving threat landscape.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality investigative reporting and intelligence outputs.
• Support response efforts for security incidents and critical escalations.
• Drive process improvements through automation and tooling to scale investigative workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in threat intelligence, investigations, or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in intelligence gathering, monitoring, and investigative reporting.
• Experience conducting complex investigations across various digital platforms.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and systems such as SQL and Hadoop.
• Familiarity with link analysis methodologies and legal/compliance considerations related to investigations.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Oakville, Ontario.

Nice to have

• Experience with Maltego, Hunchly, Splunk, or case management platforms.
• Background working with online games, live services, or AAA multiplayer environments.
• Scripting skills in Python or SQL for automation and analysis.
• Basic level of fluency or above in languages other than English.
