What you will do
- Lead hardware quality efforts for new product development (NPI) projects in the video conferencing domain.
- Define and develop test plans that reflect the needs of customers and installers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams early in the design process to ensure quality requirements are integrated.
- Evaluate product use cases to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.
- Coordinate with JDMs on DVT plans, sample requirements, and testing procedures.
- Manage the end-to-end test plan, bug tracking, and issue resolution using Jira and Zephyr.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product quality assurance for high-volume electronics products.
- Deep understanding of reliability testing and its application throughout the product life cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with teams across Asia, Americas, and Europe time zones.
- Must be based in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
Nice to have
- Experience with video conferencing tools and platforms like Zoom or MS Teams, including certification processes.
- Knowledge of Android-based devices, audio/video systems, and computer vision technologies.
- Previous experience in a multi-cultural international company.
- Experience with enterprise-level hardware products.
