What you will do

• Develop and improve Ruby on Rails applications supporting critical business workflows and processes.
• Implement backend features, integrations, and business logic within monolithic architectures.
• Apply Event-Driven Design and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to evolve system architecture.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using RSpec and Minitest.
• Manage deployments across on-premises and containerized platforms using CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA engineers, and stakeholders to refine business requirements.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Ruby Developer in modern web application environments.
• Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and the Ruby ecosystem (Bundler, RubyGems).
• Practical experience with MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, and Linux (preferably RedHat).
• Experience with infrastructure tools: Docker, Ansible, and Capistrano.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Must be based in Bulgaria (or EU region) and hold a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise-scale monolithic systems.
• Knowledge of container orchestration concepts, including Kubernetes or AKS environments.
• Experience applying GenAI, agent-based workflows, or prompt patterns within the SDLC.
