Senior Solutions Developer (Hybrid Cloud)

Senior Solutions Developer (Hybrid Cloud): Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for solution enhancements and new solutions with an accent on Kubernetes, containerized environments, and cloud concepts (multi-tenancy, RBAC). Focus on providing technical leadership across server, storage, networking, and software portfolio, and supporting customer POCs/pilots.

Location: Onsite with an expectation to primarily work from an HPE office (Texas, United States)

Salary: USD 120,500 - 276,500 annually (base salary)

What you will do

• Provide direct technical leadership for designing and developing new hybrid cloud solutions and support partner/presales engagements.
• Act as go-to-person for solutions built with HPE technology areas across server, storage, networking, and software portfolio.
• Lead cross-organization projects/programs with domain-specific expertise and technical perspective.
• Develop organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software systems design and development across multiple platforms.
• Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Support customer engagements by helping with POCs and pilots, and mentor less-experienced staff.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Texas, United States
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (or equivalent) and typically 8+ years of experience.
• Strong software programming background with object-oriented concepts and in-depth analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Python, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including troubleshooting containerized application configuration (network/storage access, setup/config).
• Experience developing Kubernetes operators and CRDs; working knowledge of Nvidia software ecosystem (e.g., GPU operators, Bluefield DPUs) and cloud concepts (multi-tenancy, RBAC).
