What you will do

• Lead technical working groups with diverse stakeholders from industry, standards bodies, and public sector organisations.
• Evaluate and provide expert guidance on digital wallet ecosystems, trust frameworks, and security models.
• Define security and assurance requirements for secure communications, including encryption, authentication, and key management.
• Translate complex eIDAS regulatory requirements into practical, interoperable technical architectures.
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications, APIs, and data models for cross-border digital identity.
• Produce architectural recommendations and decision-support materials for programme governance bodies.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in communication infrastructures, secure communications, or digital identity.
• Proven expertise in secure communication protocols such as MLS, Matrix, Signal, or eDelivery.
• In-depth knowledge of the eIDAS Regulation and its application in technical architectures.
• Strong background in security-by-design, threat analysis, and cryptographic principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English is required.
