Modernized Baseline Engineer (AFSIM)

What you will do

• Design, architect, and modernize modeling and simulation behaviors and capabilities in AFSIM.
• Lead updates to model behaviors so they reflect operational requirements.
• Guide modernization of simulation and cloud-aligned architectures.
• Support the long-term technical evolution of C2SET.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field.
• At least 7 years of C++ or Python development experience and at least 7 years of AFSIM development experience.
• Hands-on experience designing AFSIM behaviors.
• Experience with AWS or Azure and REST services.
• Two or more years of experience in mission planning, operations, and wargaming.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience designing machine-learning-assisted behaviors or constructive models.
• Experience in joint or coalition environments.
• Experience with automation and tooling for behavior validation or scenario generation.
• SAFe Practitioner, ITIL 4, or AWS/Azure Associate certification.
