What you will do

• Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive advocacy and communications strategy aligned with programmatic work.
• Scale up communication efforts, specifically focusing on digital and social media engagement.
• Align communication activities with advocacy and fundraising goals to achieve measurable results.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships and network with key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and people management for the communications team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, or resource mobilization.
• Professional experience in developing communication strategies and social media engagement.
• International and national work experience, including in developing countries.
• Background or familiarity with emergency and humanitarian situations.
• English: Proficient/Fluent (C1+)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other official UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
• Russian language proficiency is a strong asset.
• Experience in crisis communications and fundraising.
• Experience in fragile settings and humanitarian contexts at the country level.
