Account Executive, Enterprise Spend (Fintech): Winning and expanding large enterprise customers for Airwallex’s spend management and expense solutions with an accent on consultative, value-led sales and C-suite engagement. Focus on building a high-quality pipeline from scratch, managing complex multi-stakeholder deal cycles ($100K+ ARR), and defining the enterprise sales playbook.

Location: Hybrid — 3 days per week in the London office (Fitzrovia)

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to contract signature for deals typically $100K+ ARR.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through outbound prospecting, partner referrals, and industry networks.
  • Engage and build trust with senior stakeholders including CFOs, CPOs, and Heads of Finance across complex buying committees.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and business cases connecting spend management capabilities to customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Solutions Engineering to run tailored demos and proof-of-concepts.
  • Contribute to the Enterprise Spend GTM playbook, including messaging and competitive battlecards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B enterprise software or SaaS sales experience in a hunting role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and closing complex enterprise deals ($100K+ ARR).
  • Must be based in London to support the hybrid office requirement.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong commercial acumen and executive presence for C-suite interactions.
  • Background in fintech, spend management, T&E, or ERP is highly valued.
